Manufacturer warranty coverage
Many batteries, chargers, and accessories include a limited warranty from the manufacturer against defects in materials or workmanship. Term, eligibility, testing, remedy, and shipping requirements differ by brand and model. A manufacturer may repair, replace, prorate, or refund an eligible product at its discretion under its written terms.
Unless a product page expressly states that FastBatts provides a separate written warranty, FastBatts is the retailer and not the product warrantor. For products sold with a written manufacturer warranty, we will make the full terms available before purchase on request and reasonably assist with an eligible claim.
To review the full written warranty for a product before purchase, request a free copy through our Contact page. Include the product name, model, or SKU so we can identify the applicable terms. If a listing shows a warranty period without the full terms, ask us for them before buying.
What is commonly excluded
The controlling manufacturer terms apply, but exclusions often include:
- normal wear, capacity loss, or end of service life;
- incorrect selection, installation, wiring, charging, storage, or maintenance;
- overcharging, undercharging, deep discharge, reverse polarity, sulfation, freezing, overheating, water damage, impact, or abuse;
- use outside published voltage, temperature, load, duty-cycle, or equipment specifications;
- modification, opened cases, removed or altered serial/date labels, or unauthorized repair; and
- damage during an unauthorized or improperly packaged return.
Starting a warranty claim
- Contact us before the applicable warranty expires and provide your FastBatts order number.
- Include the product model, SKU, date or serial code, equipment and charger details, symptoms, and clear photos.
- Complete any safe troubleshooting or testing reasonably required by the manufacturer. Do not continue using an unsafe battery.
- Wait for authorization and compliant return instructions before shipping anything.
Start through our Contact page. Proof of purchase and cooperation with the manufacturer’s claim process may be required.
Safety and claim remedies
Stop using a product that is leaking, swollen, hot, cracked, emitting an odor, or otherwise unsafe. Do not mail or dispose of it through ordinary household channels. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and local battery recycling or hazardous-material rules.
Approval of a claim is determined under the applicable written warranty. Replacement products may be new or functionally equivalent. Warranty service does not automatically extend or restart the original warranty unless the written warranty or applicable law says otherwise. Customer statutory rights remain unaffected.
